Location: University of São Paulo (USP) in Ribeirão Preto, Brazil; Center for Virology Research at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School (FMRP-USP) and the Department of Physics of Ribeirão Preto Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters (FFCLRP-USP).

Post-doctoral position in an interdisciplinary project combining cell biology, virology, and biophysics, focused on the role of biocondensates in unconventional secretion and virus-cell interactions. The aim is to understand how liquid-phase structures (biocondensates) modulate alternative secretion routes and viral infection dynamics.

We seek motivated candidates with an independent and collaborative profile, preferably experienced in most of the following techniques: molecular cloning, cell culture, DNA/RNA transfection, flow cytometry, qPCR, protein-protein interaction analysis, and confocal/electron microscopy. Experience with virus-cell interaction studies is a plus.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral fellowship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of R$ 12,000.00 (~ US$ 2,150.00 free of taxes) monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
