Candidates should have a PhD degree in physics or another related discipline; this should be accompanied by a solid track record in research as evidenced by the publication record. Ideal candidates should be well versed in quantum theory, statistical mechanics. Experience in one or more of the following areas in highly desirable: information entropy in statistical mechanics, machine learning, generalized probabilistic theories and quantum computation.
