Postdoctoral Researcher in Transcranial Ultrasound Stimulation and Neuroimaging - decision-making and motivation

Do you want to combine low-intensity transcranial ultrasound stimulation with neuroimaging and computational modeling in healthy humans and patients? Or use state-of-the-art multimodal approaches to understand decision-making, learning and emotions? We’re launching a line of research at the University Hospital San Raffaele in Milan with several collaborations in Europe, UK and the US.

Open Positions:

- 2 ERC Postdoctoral Researcher positions (100%)

WE COMBINE:

- Transcranial Ultrasound Stimulation

- Behavioural tasks & autonomic measurements

- Neuroimaging (MRI)

- Computational modeling & advanced neural network analysis

- Bench-to-bedside research

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

- Computational and neuroimaging analysis skills

- Neuromodulation experience using transcranial techniques in humans (TUS, TMS, etc.)

- Strong background in psychology, cognitive/affective neuroscience or related areas

- Coding & stats skills (Python/Matlab/R)

- Curiosity, teamwork and scientific drive
