Description:

The Jeurissen lab at NYU's Center for Neural Science is looking for a postdoctoral associate to work on the following:

Design, perform, analyze, write up, and publish experiments investigating the neural mechanisms of perception, decision-making, cognitive control, and compensatory mechanisms in higher-cognitive functions. The experiments will involve a combination of behavioral, anatomical, and electrophysiological studies in human and animal subjects. Techniques include high-channel electrophysiology and viral-vector mediated causal manipulation of neural activity in awake-behaving animals.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $62,500 - $75,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.

Qualifications:

PhD in neuroscience or in related field.
