A postdoctoral position is available starting early 2021 in the Kodani lab in the Center for Pediatric Neurological Disease Research at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. We are looking for highly talented, self-motivated and team-oriented individuals passionate about human disease genetics and brain development. In particular, the candidate will utilize mouse models and cell biology to answer how human mutations in proteins disrupt neurodevelopment. The ideal candidate is interested in developmental signaling, centrosome biology, and brain development. Preference will be given to applicants with experience working with mice and neurobiology. The candidate should be an independent thinker, be a kind lab citizen, value collaboration, and has strong oral and written communication skills.
