Postdoctoral Position in Tumor Immunology
A postdoctoral position is immediately available in the Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center at University of Maryland School of Medicine to study T cell biology and how T cells contribute to tumor immunity and transplantation immunity. Our lab currently focuses on investigating the cellular and molecular mechanisms governing T cell differentiation, activation and cytotoxic function in the setting of hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) for the treatment of blood cancers. The postdoctoral fellow will have the opportunity to study cancer and transplant patients and mouse HCT models in a well-mentored environment at this NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center.
Requirements: Highly motivated PhD or MD/PhD students who graduated within three years are encouraged to apply. A solid background and working experience in the following areas are highly desired:
1. Immunology
2. Mouse models of cancer
