Postdoctoral Fellow
The Nectow Laboratory at Columbia University has multiple openings for a postdoctoral fellow position. We are currently looking for motivated candidates with a strong background in neuroscience, particularly with expertise in molecular and systems neuroscience; however, we are always looking for talented people regardless of scientific background.
The lab studies the neurobiology of energy balance and body weight. We develop and apply state-of-the-art molecular, imaging, and functional techniques in mice to understand how the brain regulates food intake and energy expenditure.

Other qualifications:

We are always looking for individuals of exceptional talent that do not necessarily have a strong background in neuroscience (but do have a strong background in, for example, biomedical/materials engineering, chemistry, synthetic biology, computer science, and/or experimental physics/applied mathematics).
Applicants should send a brief cover letter describing their research interests, a CV, and 2-3 references (contact information and/or letters) to Alexander Nectow (arn2136@columbia.edu).
