Description:

The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Cancer Center seeks a Postdoctoral Research Associate to carry out projects in the field of mechanisms of inflammatory diseases. The research projects will use cell biology, molecular biology, and animal models of lung diseases. Expertise related to these research areas is ideal, but training will be offered. Highly motivated candidates with independency in experimental design, data gathering and analysis, manuscript and grant preparation, as well as strong interpersonal skills are especially encouraged. The position is available now and will remain open until it is filled.

Duties:

Carry out projects in the field of mechanisms of inflammatory diseases. The research projects will use cell biology, molecular biology, and animal models of lung diseases.
