. Carrying out a scientific project using molecular, cellular and biochemical biology approaches, on the role of chromatin in the repair of DNA double strand breaks. . Participating in the technical training of students of the team . Analyzing, formatting and communicating the results, both in written and oral form.

A 2-years post doctoral position is open in the Legube lab (https: // www. legubelab.com/) on the ERC funded project "GENECARE". The project aims at understanding the function of chromatin during DNA Double Strand Breaks Repair in mammalian cells

The project will be carried out within the Legube team, of the MCD unit, located in the CBI, building 4R4, Paul Sabatier University, 118 route de Narbonne, 31062 Toulouse. The postdoctoral fellow will be supervised by GaelleLegube, and will work in close collaboration with the rest of the research team.

Eligibility criteria

. In-depth theoretical and practical bckground in molecular and cellular biology. . Knowing how to design and conduct experiments as part of a scientific project. . Knowing how to interpret and disseminate scientific results. . Knowing how to work in a team . Have a good capacity for organization and adaptation . Autonomy and sense of initiative. . Reliability and sense of responsibility. . Previous Experience in chromatin biology and / or DNA repair/genome stability is required
