丹麦奥尔胡斯大学博士后职位
At Aarhus University, Faculty of Science and Technology, Department of Engineering, is inviting applications for a vacancy as postdoctorial researcher in Operations Management in Biological Production. The University seeks an innovative and visionary researcher capable of developing the disciplines of technical operations management. There exist an extensive record of research and research-based advisory services targeted towards the application of operations management for increasing the production concurrently with reducing the dependency on natural resources in biological production. The researcher must extend the current operations management/agricultural engineering domain at Aarhus University with a clear focus on farming technologies. The scientific work is focused on ICT, which comprises data acquisition, data conversion, data transfer, statistical modelling and structuring of information as the basis for process management and process documentation as a prerequisite for advancing embedded intelligence in biological production systems.
Research focus: The successful candidate is expected to develop a strong and visible research program in the area of interdisciplinary research on an international and national level in the general area of operations management, focusing in particular on planning and control of operations systems, supply chain management, and logistics. The candidate should be able to bridge solid theoretical foundations, development of computational optimization methods, and systems design for applications to areas such intelligent path planning and logistics. The candidate is expected to make important research contributions to the Operations Management group, in particular to advanced operations optimization for sustainable biological production. Candidates should hold a PhD degree and have an excellent record of accomplishments in engineering with a specialization in industrial engineering and operations management. This post doctoral position has been established to promote the careers of younger scientists and last for 9 month.
A process has been initiated in terms of reorganizing of engineering at Aarhus University. Read more here: https://eng.au.dk/en/news-and-events/news/show/artikel/new-organisation-to-strengthen-engineering-at-aarhus-university-1/
