美国亨廷顿医学研究所(HMRI)心血管信号研究博士后职位

Huntington Medical Research Institutes

Pasadena, CA, United States

Postdoctoral positions are available in January 2021 in the Cardiovascular Signaling Research Laboratory at Huntington Medical Research Institutes (HMRI), Pasadena, CA to investigate a novel Ser/Thr phosphatase in the heart with age and following injury. In addition, the project will define the epigenetic mechanisms required for phosphatase mediated regulation of transcriptional changes that is important for cardiac homeostasis in young and aging mice. Using both in vitro and in vivo model systems we will determine novel targets that regulate cardiac growth and metabolic signaling with aging. Candidates with a background in cell and myocardial biology will be preferred. Experience in molecular and cell biology techniques, biochemistry, bioinformatics, and cardiac mouse models are all considered strengths for this position.

Candidates, with a recent PhD degree, and a good track record of publications, will be given priority. The initial appointment will be for two years with the possibility of extension. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, laboratory experience, and institutional guidelines.

TO APPLY: Please send application materials (CV, a brief summary of career goals and objectives) and a list of three professional references to hr@hmri.org. No phone calls, please. Private letters of recommendation can be submitted using this form: http://bit.ly/postdocletter
