慕尼黑工业大学附属伊萨右岸医院转化与基础癌症研究博士后招聘
The Klinikum rechts der Isar university hospital of the Technical University of Munich is a major European center of medical care and education and teaching with 1,161 beds and around 5,500 employees. Every year around 60,000 patients benefit from inpatient and around 250,000 patients from outpatient care. The hospital is a supra-maximal care home that covers the entire spectrum of modern medicine. Since 2003, the Klinikum rechts der Isar is an institute of public law of the Free State of Bavaria.
The research group of Prof. Dr. Bassermann is part of Department of Internal Medicine III (Hematology and Oncology) and is located at TranslaTUM – Central Institute for Translational Cancer Research. It is well embedded in the Munich biomedical research community and research centers such as the German Cancer Consortium (DKTK), and the DFG-funded Collaborative Research Centers 1335 “Aberrant Immune Signals in Cancer” and 1243 “Cancer Evolution” and European Research Council (ERC).
The group investigates how posttranslational mechanisms, particularly the ubiquitin system, regulate core aspects of cancer related cellular processes such as the cell cycle, immune and DNA damage responses, metabolism and programmed cell death. Special interest is how aberrant functions of this system contribute to the pathogenesis and maintenance of cancer and how these can serve as therapeutic targets and biomarkers.
