　　Job Description

　　Postdoctoral Fellow positions are available in the Department of Neurosciences at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute. The successful candidate(s) will work for Endowed Chair in Angiogenesis Professor Tatiana Byzova on a comprehensive and clinically important NIH-funded research program. Areas of interest include: 1) role and mechanisms of innate immunity on vascular cells; 2) pathophysiological consequences of oxidative stress in neurodegeneration; and 3) roles of microglia and vasculature in neuropathologies (See Dudiki et al., 2020, Nature Communications). Candidates should have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. in a relevant discipline and a background in vascular biology, inflammation, and/or neuroscience.
