德国弗莱堡大学化学与生物工程博士后招聘
2 Postdoc/Research Assistant positions
are available in the group of Prof. Frank Stienkemeier at the Institute of Physics, University of Freiburg, Germany.
The connected experimental research involves laser spectroscopy, femtosecond timeresolved methods, Free-Electron Laser radiation as well as molecular, cluster and helium droplet beams. One position has a focus on experiments at Free-Electron-Laser XUV and X-ray light sources; the second position will be focused on organic molecular complexes in the gas phase, studied by means of photoelectron and fluorescence spectroscopy using femtosecond/nanosecond lasers. Qualified, highly self-motivated candidates should hold a PhD in Physics, Chemistry, or related fields and have a strong background in femtosecond laser pulses, molecular and cluster beams and related detection of photons, electrons and ions. Candidates may develop new research ideas and projects for a further academic career (with possibility for Habilitation). The position will be limited initially to one year with options for extension.
Interested and highly qualified candidates should send their application as a singlePDF document to Prof. Frank Stienkemeier (stienkemeier@uni-freiburg.de), including a statement of research interests (max. 1 page) as well as names and addresses of 2 referees.
Search will start immediately until positions are filled.
