　　Description of research topic:

　　A postdoctoral position is available for a highly motivated and capable postdoctoral researcher to investigate environmental stress and phytoremediation networks using molecular biology, physiology, biochemistry and reverse genetics in Arabidopsis and marine algae.

　　Applicant must have obtained a Ph.D. within the last five years in plant biology related field. The extensive experience and knowledge of plant molecular biology and biochemistry are required. The experience in chemical biology or membrane protein is preferred. It is required that the person can smoothly communicate with other collaborators in and out of our laboratory, and can cooperate with them.

　　Contract Conditions：

　　A one-year fixed-term employment contract, renewable based on evaluation, to a maximum of the end of the fiscal year (March 31) in which the employee completes 5 years of employment.

　　Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Commuting and housing allowances will be provided. Social insurance will be applied. This position falls under the specialized duties discretionary work system; one working day will be calculated as 7 hours and 30 minutes.
