The research projects include a high-pressure aqueous phase reforming of oxygenated hydrocarbons to produce pure hydrogen gas and external electric-field assisted fuel reforming of biogas. The hired-postdoctoral researcher is expected to work 70% of his/her time for the high-pressure reforming and other 30% for the electric-field fuel reforming projects.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline with experiences in reactor designs and fuel reformations. Excellent spoken English and written English are required.
Preferred Qualifications
Applicants who have experiences with the high-pressure aqueous phase fuel reforming and COMSOL reactor modeling, as well as knowledge of material characterization (including XRD, TEM, SEM and FTIR), will be preferred.
