　　Fixed term contract for a maximum of 18 months, this might have to be shortened up to a maximum 15 months depending on the starting salary of the successful candidate. 36.5 hours per week.

　　We are seeking a post-doc with substantial plant molecular biology experience to work on an 18 month BBSRC Transformative Research Development Fund project that will build on our ongoing research to develop a non-integrative virus-mediated CRIPSR/Cas9 expression system as a novel approach for gene editing in a range of crop plants. Experience of CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing and/or working with plant viruses (particularly PVX and TRV) would be beneficial.
