　　A Postdoctoral position is immediately available in the Poulikakos Laboratory at the Tisch Cancer Institute, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York (http://labs.icahn.mssm.edu/poulikakoslab/).

　　We investigate oncogenic signaling and adaptive and acquired resistance to targeted therapeutics, with the goal of designing more effective cancer therapies (Poulikakos et al., Nature, 2010, Poulikakos et al., Nature, 2011, Samatar and Poulikakos, Nat Rev Drug Discov, 2014, Karoulia et al., Cancer Cell, 2016, Karoulia et al., Nat Rev Cancer, 2017, Ahmed at al., Cell Rep, 2019). Highly motivated individuals with a strong interest in basic and translational cancer research are encouraged to apply. Candidates must hold an MD and/or PhD degree in Biochemistry, Cancer Biology, Biology, or related fields with relevant published research experience. Expertise in cell culture, western blotting and basic biochemical and molecular biology techniques is absolutely required. Candidates with background in cancer biology and signal transduction and/or experience in animal handling will be preferred.
