　　Postdoctoral Researcher – full-time continuing position – E 13 TV-L HU

　　At the chair of Bioanalytical Chemistry a position of a postdoctoral researcher (on a permanent basis) is currently vacant. The group is equipped with several state-of-the-art low and high resolution mass spectrometer and ancillary equipment, which are used for clinical applications, metabolomics, imaging, structural identifications and quantitative analyses.

　　Job Description: Scientific tasks in research and teaching; in particular development of advanced analytical and mass spectrometry methods for application to metabolomics

　　Requirements: A completed university degree as well as PhD in the area of chemistry, biochemistry or similar (preferably with very good results); at least 3 years of professional experience (following the award of the university degree) in an academic or industrial employment; fundamental theoretical knowledge of mass spectrometry and analytical chemistry; proven experience with the operation of high-resolution mass spectrometers and analyzing HRMS data; experience maintaining mass spectrometers; proven experience with the development of bioanalytical or clinical methods; data mining skills, including the use of statistical and scripting languages are beneficial; fluent english required, both written and spoken
