　　Job Description

　　A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the Baizabal Lab in the Department of Biology at Indiana University (https://biology.indiana.edu/about/faculty/baizabal-manuel.html).

　　The goal of the postdoctoral project is to determine how global chromatin modifications in neural stem cells and cortical neurons determine the complex organization and functions of the mouse and human cerebral cortex. Both experimental and bioinformatics approaches will be used.

　　The Department of Biology has a vibrant intellectual atmosphere and excellent facilities for conducting research in genomics, epigenetics and developmental biology (http://www.bio.indiana.edu/).

　　Basic Qualifications

　　A Ph.D. in molecular/developmental neurobiology or related field is required.

　　Priority will be given to applicants who received their PhD within the last two years. Expertise in mouse genetics and/or sequencing data analysis is highly desired. Good communication skills and working as part of a team are expected.
