　　Job Description

　　Positions are immediately available for a Ph.D or MD/Ph.D in the field of cancer biology, molecular and cell biology in the Institute of Molecular Medicine at The University of Health Science Center at Houston. The post-doctoral positions involve basic and translational research to delineate the roles of autophagy in cancers. Only candidates that have a good publication record will be considered. Experience in characterizing mouse models, gene editing, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, cell culture, and immunoblotting are desired but not required. A strong background in biochemistry, molecular biology, and cell biology and previous experience in scientific writing in English is required.

　　IMM is located in the vibrant research environment of the Houston Texas Medical Center, which includes Baylor College of Medicine, The M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, The University of Texas Medical School, the Methodist Hospital Research Institute, and Rice University.
