  美国西奈山伊坎医学院免疫学和/或癌症博士后招聘

A postdoctoral research positionin the laboratory of David Dominguez-Sola, at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York is now available (start date, Spring 2020). Mount Sinai is a diverse institution, host of groundbreaking science aimed at advancing medicine and patient care. The Tisch Cancer Institute, to which the laboratory is affiliated, is an NCI-designated multidisciplinary cancer research center with state-of-the-art facilities and a vibrant scientific community:  https://icahn.mssm.edu/research/tisch

The Dominguez-Sola laboratory investigates the pathogenic mechanisms of B cell lymphoma initiation and how they relate to the normal biology of adaptive immune responses. Our small group is very dynamic, collaborative and international, comprised of researchers with diverse backgrounds and expertise. For additional information and a list of publications, please visit our website:  http://labs.icahn.mssm.edu/dominguezlab/

We are looking for a creative, talented, collegial and highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to investigate how the disruption of B cell dynamics in the germinal center contributes to the pathogenesis of B cell non-Hodgkin lymphomas. Briefly, the project will use high throughput methods to explore how several genetic alterations found in lymphomas impact positive selection and clonal expansion in the germinal center.

Successful applicants will hold a PhD (or be in the final stages of completion) in fields related to immunology and/or cancer and have generated original contributions to their field of research. This position requires substantial knowledge on cancer biology and B cell development, with technical experience in molecular biology and animal models for the study of developmental processes and/or human disease. Experience with gene editing techniques, flow cytometry, use of basic computational tools for genomics studies would be especially valued. Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.

As a postdoctoral fellow, you will be expected to lead your own project, and contribute to other projects on a collaborative basis. You will be in charge of designing and conducting experiments; analyzing and interpreting data; and directly contributing to the conceptual framework of the study. You will be also responsible for the presentation of research results at institutional seminars and scientific meetings and in manuscripts reporting their discoveries. Finally, you will be involved in general lab duties and may supervise graduate students.

This job offers a competitive salary with benefits, access to subsidized housing, and is subject to skills and experience. Mount Sinai is an equal opportunity employer.
