　　Your tasks:

　　We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated postdoc/scientist to join the proteomics/metabolomics core facility at our institute. The ideal candidate will develop novel and implement newly emerged workflows for proteomics and metabolomics data analysis and their application in service and collaboration. This includes initial support in experimental design and ends by providing comprehensive statistical analyses, tables, figures, and documentation.

　　Your qualifications:

　　The preferred candidate is holding a Ph.D. degree in the area of bioinformatics/computational proteomics with hands-on expertise in biomolecular mass spectrometry and proteomics/metabolomics data analysis including processing of complex LC-MS/MS data sets. Sound knowledge in quantitative and statistical analysis as well as higher-level bioinformatics tasks, such as pathway and network analysis as well as in bioinformatics MS data analysis including statistical evaluation (e.g. by MaxQuant, Perseus, openMS, Skyline, Prism etc.) is absolutely essential for this position. Furthermore, integration of proteome and metabolome data, in-depth analysis of PTM’s, programming (e.g. R, Python), and a sophisticated understanding of biological contexts are necessary skills. Advanced English communication skills, a high degree of independent work ethic and the ability to function in a team are completing your profile.
