　　Postdoctoral Research Associate in Cell Engineering – Technology Translator

　　We are looking for an energetic, self-starter with an excellent track record in molecular biology and/or synthetic biology with proven interest in technology transfer or entrepreneurship.

　　The UK Centre for Mammalian Synthetic Biology has developed a range of innovative cell engineering tools and technologies (for example, safe harbour landing pads, synthetic transcription factors, minimal and inducible promoters).

　　The post holder will further develop these tools towards commercial application in, for example, the fields of therapeutic cell lines, enhanced production of biologics and stem cell biology. They will also play a key role in supporting the transfer of the products to industry via licensing, commercial collaboration or potentially via a spin out company.

　　This post is offered on a full time, fixed term basis until 30 June 2021.

　　Salary: £33,797 – £40,322 per annum
