  捷克科学院博士后职位

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is willing to accept the challenge of cutting-edge research in the development of peptide hormone mimetics.

  Job description:

This multidisciplinary research program combines molecular modeling-aided combinatorial chemical synthesis of peptide hormone mimetics with their biological and structural characterization. The successful applicant for this postdoc position will be an outstanding, self-driven person who will explore the organic synthesis and solid-phase synthesis of peptidomimetics as well as biological characterization of compounds.

  We offer:

We offer a competitive salary financed by the European Regional Development Fund and a stable position lasting one to three years and starting on 1 January 2020. Located in the stunning city of Prague, our research facilities feature a state-of-the-art instrumentation portfolio (www.uochb.cz).

  Requirements:

Applicants must have a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry or a closely related discipline. Candidates must be the first author of at least two publications. The position requires prior experience in synthetic organic chemistry. Experience in biological testing of compounds is a definite plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required, as is the ability to conduct independent scientific investigations. The position is being offered for 12 months starting from 1 January 2020 and will likely be extended.
