The prospective candidate will have the opportunity to learn state-of-the-art techniques such as Multi-Photon-Excitation intravital microscopy of the lung and other organs in mice, microfluidic platform studies with human blood, and other molecular biology and biochemistry techniques. Previous experience in mice surgery or intravital microscopy, and strong background in neutrophil and platelet adhesion biology, innate immunity or extracellular vesicle/exosome signaling is highly preferred. Our lab is located in Vascular Medicine Institute (VMI) of the University of Pittsburgh-School of Medicine.VMI has strong commitment towards career development of young investigators in the field of vascular inflammation.
